FASTUPLOADR SUPPORT

Help when
you need it.

Setup, transfers, and troubleshooting. Find the answer you need.

What storage can I connect?+

Bunny Storage or a server that supports HTTPS WebDAV. AWS S3, Cloudflare R2, DigitalOcean Spaces, FTP, SFTP, and SMB are not direct connections in this release. Hosting a WebDAV server on a cloud provider can work.

Is FastUploadr free?+

Yes. No subscription is required. Storage and bandwidth charges are separate and come from your storage provider.

Will it upload my whole photo library?+

No. You manually select the photos and videos to upload, then press Upload. FastUploadr does not automatically scan and back up your entire library.

Can uploads continue with my screen locked?+

Yes. Once files finish preparing and you press Upload, the app hands selected transfers to iOS. You can leave the app or lock the screen. iOS decides when background work runs; power and network conditions may delay transfers. Reopen FastUploadr to check progress.

What happens if I swipe the app closed?+

Force-quitting the app can stop background transfers. Leave it running in the background instead. If you force-quit it, reopen it and check for interrupted or failed files.

Why does preparing files take a while?+

Selected files may need to download from iCloud and be copied into temporary app storage before upload. Keep FastUploadr open until preparation finishes, and leave enough free space for the selected batch.

Bunny rejects my password. Which key should I use?+

Use the Storage zone’s read/write password in FTP & API Access. Do not use the Bunny account password, account API key, read-only password, or Stream library key. Confirm the Storage API endpoint matches the zone’s primary region.

My custom server will not connect.+

Check the complete HTTPS WebDAV folder URL, username, and app password. Confirm the folder exists and allows PUT and DELETE. The server must be reachable from your phone and have a valid HTTPS certificate. A login page or redirect is not a WebDAV upload endpoint.

What happens when an upload fails?+

Check your network, credentials, available storage quota, and server file-size limits. Use Retry Failed Uploads to put failed files back in the queue, then press Upload. Interrupted files restart from the beginning; this version does not resume halfway through a file.

Where are my files in Bunny?+

Look in Storage → your zone → File Manager, not the Stream library. The current build uses the fastuploadr-test folder with generated filenames. Storage is not a video player; download a file to verify it plays. The upload folder name is being finalized for launch.

Does Clear Queue delete my photos?+

No. It removes items from FastUploadr’s local list and removes remaining staged copies. Your original phone photos and videos and files already uploaded to your server are kept. Unsent files must be selected again if you want to upload them later.

Are my location details removed?+

Not yet. Uploaded photos and videos may retain metadata, including location. The app’s current metadata setting does not guarantee removal of embedded GPS data. Phone originals are not changed.

Do you have access to my uploads or password?+

Transfers go directly from your phone to your chosen destination. Credentials stay in secure device storage; upload history and staged files stay on the device. We do not operate a FastUploadr media-hosting server or include an analytics or advertising SDK. Your storage provider handles the uploads and can record connection information.

Will my saved connection survive closing the app?+

Yes. A saved destination stays available after closing and reopening the app or restarting your phone. A changed or revoked password, deleted destination, or server permission change may require reconnection. “Connected” indicates a saved destination, not a continuous server health check.

STILL STUCK?

A human, when you need one.

Our support mailbox is being set up for launch. Until then, these guides cover the current test build.

When contacting support, include the error message and app version. Never send storage passwords, access keys, or private media.
